Email address is only accessible from your BlackBerry, not from any computer. I'm not sure why you couldn't use it for BlackBerry ID.

I had a blackberry.com email address that was only on the phone. This was not recognized when I had to create the Blackberry ID. So I created a new one. However the new Blackberry ID email address is not one that is received anywhere. Is that the way it is supposed to be?

The easiest way to set up your email is through Automatic Login. Bell Mobility: To learn how, click here. I have been checking in the market for various brands of phones & operating systems, and it looks like only Blackberry BES has the functionality of listing ALL folders, and be able to actually type the folder name to move e-mails to that folder, or display that folder's contents.
This is extremely useful function, and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this in any other phone that's not Blackberry. Answer: iOS and android both can do this with many but not all types of email accounts. exchange and activesync accounts have this functionality on both of those OS. Oddly enough, you have to BES ob BB to get this support. BIS doesnt support it. Many BB owners cant do this either. Its a drawback for many. I have a telus blackberry. It was sent away to have the trackpad replaced and when I got it back the network is locked to rogers. It will not show another networks excepted for a SOS Rogers. Which means I can't use my phone. I have taken it back to telus few times and they keep telling me they can't do anything cause I did it. Is there anything I can do to fix this???
Thank you Answer: This sounds ridiculous. Unbelievable even. Who was it sent away to? To Telus? To RIM? You don't say. The people you pay are accountable to you. Contact whoever did this and demand that he fix it. On blackberry messenger it wont let me recieve messages. i can sent them and the little D comes up but it doesnt come up with the R and when somebody replies to me it doesnt come up with there messages. have i got all the correct settings on? i am currently on contract and have the blackberry one i switched from PAYG yesterday, and since then ive had problems. any help anyone?
Answer: http://unlockmybberry.com/ Who is your carrier? Have you resent the service books to the device and re-hosted your routing table? I'm going to assume that since you switched from pay as you go to full contract service that there is something in the provisioning of the device that hasn't been applied. Re-sending your service books should resolve this. Go into your e-mail settings on the device, press menu, select "Service Books" then select to send service books. This should get you back in action. http://unlockmybberry.com/ BlackBerry Handheld Software v5.0.0.1079 (All Languages)

Download Software http://www.blackberryos.com/download...do=file&id=709 Hi all. I work for an IT company and one of our clients needs some emails from about 6 months ago in a legal case. Its a Rogers phone (@rogers.blackberry.net) and the emails aren't on the phone any longer. I was told by Rogers even though its their phone this email is managed by RIM and I would have to contact them. Would RIM still have these emails stored anywhere? Thanks all.
I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible. I'm assuming that the e-mails were sent to the @rodgers.blackberry.net account? I would contact Rodgers again and have them escalate the ticket up to RIM. That way you'll be able to speak to someone directly from RIM about the situation. I think your client is probably screwed, I doubt that the e-mails are still available, but I could be wrong. It's worth a shot. Answer: I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible. I'm assuming that the e-mails were sent to the @rodgers.blackberry.net account? I think your client is probably screwed, I doubt that the e-mails are still available, but I could be wrong. It's worth a shot. I have a Torch 9800, which I got on a promotional deal for my contract a few months ago. I like it, but I am finding the slider a little annyoing as I am always typing and I don't really like the "stiff" feel that the keys have. They are fine, and much better than a lot of qwerty phones I have tried but I prefer the Bold keyboard. Particulary the 9780, and the 9900.
I have two choices, I am going to give my Torch to my friend who had her BlackBerry stolen and can't pay for another one right now. I'll get myself either the Bold 9780 which I have seen around, and I have seen the PlayBook heavily discounted so I thought I'd get one too! But I am wondering if I should just ignore the PlayBook and get the Bold 9900. For the price of this I can get the Bold 9780 and a PlayBook, but if I go for the 9900 - I can only afford that. My use for my BlackBerry really is these things: BBM, Email, SMS messaging, Twitter, Whatsapp, Music, a few apps which I think are available for the 9780 such as Dictionary & Thesaurus, Shazam Encore, Smoothie, World Clock, BB Protect, Evernote, Fancytran, BB Wallet, WeatherEye, Sudoku Supreme, some Spanish newspaper apps, Trainline, The Independent, and two online radio apps and very occasioanlly I play Sim City. I know the Bold 9780 has a smaller screen and isn't touch screen. That doesn't bother me at all as I would be able to use the PlayBook via Bridge to browse the web. But what I am not sure is whether I should buy another OS6 device or just ignore the PlayBook and get the 9900? Everyone I see with the 9900 says it is amazing and jumps miles ahead of the older BlackBerries. What's your thoughts? And no, I am not ever going back to iOS, Android, and I'm not going to buy a WP7 phone. I love my BlackBerry and I'm sticking with RIM. Thank you. if you Google "tmobile prepaid curve 9360", the story will be one of the links. It has been two months since they reported the story, and there is still no Curve 9360 on the prepaid plan. I really want this BlackBerry, but cannot afford the price if I get the postpaid model without a contract. Does anyone know if the T-Mobile prepaid plan will every get this model at the price the story is reporting?
Answer: I talked to a T-Mobile customer service rep, and he said he could not find any release date for it on the prepaid. I don't know how much info the customer service reps get though. Does anyone else have anymore info? Also, does anyone know when the Curve Touch is coming? |
