We have just migrated to a new BES server (WinServer 2008, Exchange 2003, BES 5.0.3). Our problem is that we are unable to browse internal websites from our bb devices. We are always routed to external sites. Only MDS Browser is enabled! There have been a few occasions during our testing (alone and with BES Tech Support) where the browser did go to the internal sites but on the next attempt it would take us to an external site with the same URL (this external site does not belong to our company!). Has anyone had experience with this issue. I have already tried changing the configuration under proxy mappings (added our internal URL, tried providing our proxyserver:8080, and also tried using a direct connection. Catch all has been used and is still in the list but nothing seems to work. Logs have been forwarded to BES Tech Support but they also have no idea what the problem could be. If anyone has any advice on this issue or even thinks you may know the cause, please respond. Thank you.

I lent a stranger my Blackberry and now I'm totally paranoid that she was up to some unknown scam. She dialed a number and was on the phone less than a minute - it wasn't some 900 number or anything. But now I'm thinking who knows what she was up to. And my number isn't blocked either.
Am I just being paranoid? Or is there some way she could have done something shady in that minute? And on a related note - what's the best way to clean and disinfect a bb Torch screen Answer: Instantly Unlock Your Blackberry Use your blackberry When You Travel Unlock it now I just loaded the new 7.1 update onto my 9900 and started thinking... is my home internet connection of ~$45/month necessary now? I can now easily connect my laptop to my phone's data connection anywhere in my house, as well as my PlayBook.
The only thing left to connect is my PS3 for the little bit of online gaming I do a few times per week. My worry is that the connection may not be fast enough to handle online gaming if I connect my PS3 to my 9900's Mobile Hotspot. Has anyone tried this, or am I nuts for thinking it might be possible? unlock your Blackberry within minutes Fastest Blackberry unlockers in the area Answer: Online gaming isn't so much about speed as it is about latency. I'm sure the wifi hot spot will work, but the latency will probably be quite high possibly making the online gaming quite difficult. I'm due an upgrade from my Bold 9700.
I really like the idea of an iPhone but I love the BBM application too much and it's really the only thing keeping me with BB (I would go for a Torch 9800). Does anyone know of a way to keep BBM whether it be on the iPhone or by paying for a cheap BBM only package or something similar? Any advice would be great. Thanks, Use Your Blackberry on Any Network Save Time Unlock Your Blackberry Online Answer: SOME! depending on your carrier have been able to Keep BBM on a wifi only device while using a NON BBM phone as their primary phone. I know one Rogers user who had a Windows Mobile phone purchased off contract, and used their BB Data Plan, they got all the access they needed with the WinMo phone, AND their Wifi enabled BlackBerry could still BBM. that is the only option you MAY have but it MAY not work How can I tweak the Bold 9000 with SIM Card so that I can access App World, upgrade to OS5?12/12/2011 A friend gave me a Bold 9000 to play with. What I'd like to do is set it up to use G-mail, contacts, calendar & tasks. If it's possible I'd like to add in app usage. Assumingly all on the wi-fi.
About the phone; it's running OS4. I've heard that I need OS5 to get native G-mail support. The phone was originally on the Rogers network with a SIM card. I've got an active Rogers pre-paid SIM card, but the card/phone doesn't have a data plan with it, only calling & SMS. Can I somehow tweak the Bold 9000 to let me use the SIM Card so that I can access App World, upgrade to OS5, and then set-up the G-mail connections I'd like? I've got the card installed in the Bold right now and it receives texts. I'm missing the option in the Setup folder to set up a new e-mail account, and I've got an active wi-fi connection while trying to do this all. Plus, if I choose to activate it in the near future, I'd hate to miss out on downloading some of those freebie apps. I'm no stranger to BlackBerries. I liked using the Curve I had 2 years ago but gave it up when I left the company that was paying for it. It was really handy to have around. unlock your Blackberry Bold 9000 within minutes Answer: If you mean tablet use only, eg. Micro tablet, then just addon the blackberry data plan and use BBSAK to shrink out everything with "phone", everything but the browser and what it depends on, remove the camera, video camera, etc. It's possible, but you'll end up nuking the OS if you don't get it right the first few or more tries. Just letting you know. I am going to either repurpose my 9700 as a camera (shrink out bloody everything) or as a wifi browsing PDA that doesn't need a SIM, eg. Nothing but wifi browsing. But circumventing BIS/carrier data is stealing. I have a pre-owned 9650 and on the site it said I can trade up for a Blackberry 9900 with 40$ to spare. Is the trade up thing real and the 9900 came with a contract or not ?
Answer: Don't do a trade with any of the major retailers as they give you a very low value for your phone! You can easily sell a good condition 9800 on kijiji/craigslist around $200 to $250. Increase the value of your Blackberry 9900 Unlock it Today I'm with koodo and have a android phone and have the data saver package and basically i get charged data as i use it and long story short hotmail works and my phone fetches email/data as per my settings.
Im thinking abt getting a blackberry locked to koodo (curve 8530) and keeping my current voice plan and keeping the current data saver plan, so basically i will have data BUT I WONT HAVE the blackberry add on. will i still be able to receive hotmail emails on the blackberry???? when im not on wifi of course. If you guys need help with understanding koodo plans im adding the link, I already have the Data Saver option, which starts from $5 a mth and goes up to $25 depending on data usage. Oh wait it wont let me, anyways if u need help, just go to koodo.ca and select plans and then add ons. Your carrier has to "register" your BB with BIS servers in order for email/data and other internet related services to work. If i cradle my laptop to the blackberry, i could get the site on the laptop.
The bb just gets the white screen. I thought maybe it was a java based site, so i checked to make sure java was enabled on the bb. Is anyone able to get the mycokerewards site on their Blackberry. It is run with Macromedia Flash player. And like said before, Blackberry do not support flash. I needed some help cleaning my Blackberry 9330. Got some tips from the folks. Long story short...use a Qtip with a dab of rubbing alcohol. Have your phone turned off. Clean the thing. Just like new. Now all I need is a 4g Curve
